Chicken Tetrazzini - A wonderful recipe from my friend Jan Stein. Her daughter confirmed that this is the family favorite! Jan is a neighbor and a very colorful person so this chicken had to be really feisty and colorful .
Spring Green Asparagus Soup - Marlene Pantos shared a recipe for this soup which features asparagus grown in her garden! Asparagus, potatoes, cheese - yum!! I had to add a little bee, because Marlene and her family also sell honey that they make. I have a jar of it - which is almost gone - and it's delicious!!
Italian Italian Beef Stew - Sandy Garone shared her family's favorite beef stew. Sandy married into an Italian family that raises cattle in California. Although she's pure Irish, she's become quite the Italian cook!
Orange Candy Cookies - Wow, this recipe brings back lots of memories! Dawn Hees's mother was famous for making these cookies when we were growing up in Bishop, a tiny town in south Texas. Remember those chewy orange candy slices, covered with sugar? They get chopped up and added to the cookie batter for some really yummy treats!
